Snap Lock Still Standing Strong in 2011!

Source: Snap Lock, Inc.
Date: 01/14/2011

Over the last three years, we have been overwhelmed with company after company that has either failed or experienced severe losses due to the current recession.

It is important for us all to take a look not only at the downfall, but what they did to become successful in the first place.  What did they do to set themselves apart from the rest of the crowd?  What made that company special and one that customers flocked to for product or services?  How can we protect ourselves from being a similar story if another recession happened?

Snap Lock has been in business over 20 years. During that time we have weathered more than one "recession", and we're still here standing strong! We believe Snap Lock's continued success is due to several factors.

First, we have great customers who understand what we do, how we do it and why we do it the way we do. Those things enable us to retain current customers while always looking for new customers.

Second, we are willing to try new things, to think outside the box. Sometimes the new ideas work out well and sometimes they do not. Recognizing the difference is imperative. If something new isn't working, you must be willing to stop using it and try something else. Perhaps the reason it isn't working is as simple as timing. Maybe it will work at a later time.

Third, Snap Lock is a very stable company. Customers are looking for stability, looking for companies that will be there over the long haul. Those kinds of companies are ones that recognize what they do well and also what they could do better and then be willing to make a change if necessary.

Snap Lock is just such a company. We have been in business long enough to recognize what has made us successful. We also recognize when we need to make a change. It was George Santayana that made famous the saying, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."  Snap Lock conveyor systems have truly been an investment rather than expense in the past and will continue to be an investment in the present and the future.
